Who we are
JohnBovy Studio ("we", "us") is a small art business in Istanbul, Türkiye, run by its owners. We make original impasto paintings and sell them through our Etsy shop, JohnBovyImpasto. This policy covers this website (johnbovyimpasto.com) and our internal publishing tool, JohnBovy Studio Publisher.

This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or forms. It is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and protect the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not collect personal information through this site.
What JohnBovy Studio Publisher does
JohnBovy Studio Publisher is an internal tool used only by our studio. It publishes images and videos of our own artwork to our own Pinterest and Instagram business accounts. It is not offered to the public, has no other users, and is never used to access anyone else's account.
Every Pin and post is reviewed and individually approved by one of the shop owners before it is published. The tool does not publish in bulk or automatically without that approval.
Information the tool accesses
When we connect our own Pinterest or Instagram account, the platform gives the tool limited access to that account only:
- basic information about our own account (name, username, account ID);
- the boards, Pins and posts that we create;
- performance statistics of our own Pins and posts (for example impressions, saves and clicks).
We do not access, collect or store information about other users, their followers, their messages or any private data. We do not sell, rent or share data received from Pinterest or Instagram with anyone, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.
How we store and protect it
Access tokens are kept only on systems controlled by the shop owners, with access restricted to the people who operate the tool. They are never shared with third parties. Statistics about our own posts are kept only as long as we need them to understand which of our posts work well.
Buyer information
Etsy reviews we may quote in our posts are already public on Etsy. When we quote a review we show only the reviewer's first name as displayed on Etsy, never an address, email or order details.
Retention and deletion
We keep account data only while our accounts are connected to the tool. When we disconnect, we revoke the tool's access in the platform's settings and delete stored tokens within 30 days. Anyone can contact us at johnbovyimpasto90@gmail.com to ask about, or request deletion of, any data related to them; we reply within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
